Safe ways to etch at home for printmaking? - zinc plating at home
I've heard about some safe ways to burn without a plate using acid. I wonder if there's no way I could have back home, with no exhaust fans or health problems that can compete with, I no problem recording anything at night or during a period of several days. I'm more on the way to do this safely at home, I am struck with the etching rate. For example, I heard someone with tap water (do not know if it's true) ... Just curious, if someone tries something. I am a safety freak, so I want to secure something that is super. I tend to use zinc plates, but I have no problem with copper, if necessary.

I took an art class, where the plates are used, registered, and print linocutters linoleum. It was a high school curriculum, it has clearly failed to acids. linocutters and are easy to find and come in a variety of formats. I found it seems very simple and very good at the end. It depends on what you do with the pressure. but on the type of engraving that you mentioned which is based the best I can find it for you:
